Look, if a restaurant give me chips and queso as soon as I sit down, they've won a fan for life. Julio's Taqueria is a quaint little neighborhood restaurant - don't be taken aback by the convenience store look! It really is a solid choice for Tex Mex food. I visited recently and it was my first time in many, many years. Service was great, our food came out quickly, and it was delicious. I Not only that, but the salsa was actually VERY spicy. I hate going to restaurant and you ask for their spiciest salsa and it's like spicy ketchup. It's about a 2 minutes drive from my office, so I know I will come back soon!
Always been good food and coffee. Service May be a little slow but very nice. Great for solo or family meals.
Clean, friendly, the complimentary queso was yummy! Their shredded cheese is the big thick grated type and the lettuce is nice and finely shredded - my favs. The sauces were homemade. Just really authentic Puro San Antonio!
They have a huge selection of breakfast tacos!! We ordered 4 (papas and frijoles, chorizo and egg, bacon and papa, and bacon and egg). They were all amazing. Crispy potatoes, well seasoned frijoles, and fresh ingredients. Also ordered a limonada, which was ice cold and super affordable. The salsas were both equally delicious, but definitely try the salsa verde if you can take that heat! All of this cost under $12 and the staff was super friendly!
My husband brought me here many years ago and I fell in love with the Migas plate. Then I discovered the papas con chorizo, so mouthwatering delicious. I never thought to write a review but today as I was looking around I saw the most delicious plates. Have you ever ordered something from a picture and it looks different? Well not at this place, all the plates look and taste delicious.
We just moved to the area and found this place. We've been searching for our taco/Tex-Mex breakfast place and I'm happy to report we've found it here! Food is fresh and so delicious! I had the chilaquiles Nortenos! Amazing and so satisfying! We might just have dinner here too today! Great food. And the staff is so kind and welcoming. They made us feel comfortable and well taken care of! A hidden gem for sure!
Love all the food there, tortillas very thin, always freshly made, I like my tortillas thin and they are always perfect. Small restaurant but good food. So far everything's I have ordered it's delicious, I discover a new plate that works with my diet. Keto plate. Good too. And Love the green salsa. I will be back for more.
Excellent bean and cheese tacos, made just the way i requested, music playing that isn't overpowering so it's easy to talk. I may have just found a new person favorite taco stop
